It’s February again, which can only mean one thing – time to get started on the 28 Drawings Later: February Drawing Challenge over on Facebook. The challenge is open to everyone and all you have to do is draw / paint (or anything art based) and post your work to the group every day throughout the month. This will be the third year I’ve joined in and have found it a great way to brush up on my drawing skills.
Want to draw more? Join in…! The group is very easy going so it doesn’t matter if you miss the odd day here or there. I’ve found the other members to be extremely supportive, making room for all types of work and levels of ability.
The drawings I’ve included here are a couple of favourites I added to the group in the last couple of years. The Tulip sketch was tiny and done very quickly but I like spontaneity and decisiveness of the pencil marks. This year I’m focusing on faces/head studies. If you’d like to follow my progress I’ll be sharing them on my Instagram art page as well as posting them to the facebook group.
Now, it’s time to draw…
